Explore Litchfield National Park and its enchanting waterfalls, wildlife and walks. The Park is only a short drive from Darwin and gives easy walking access. Florence Falls, termite mounds, birdlife and tropical vegetation are highlights.

South of Darwin lies the spectacular Litchfield National Park, renowned for its magnificent, year-round waterfalls and swimming holes. After leaving Darwin, you will stop at Windows on the Wetlands where you will learn about the ecosystems of the monsoonal north and see some breathtaking bird life, then on through Humpty Doo to Litchfield, which boasts spectacular scenery, monsoonal rainforests and endless spring-fed creeks. Litchfield also features intriguing giant magnetic termite mounds, some over two metres high. We stop at the picturesque Florence Falls where there is an opportunity for a guided walk through the vine forest.

After a break for lunch (available for purchase), we experience the dramatic beauty of Wangi and Tolmer Falls, and move on to the termite mounds before returning to Darwin via the pretty township of Batchelor in the early evening. Mindil Beach Market drop-offs are available on Thursdays and Sundays.
