Cradle Mountain National Park - ex Launceston 1 day

  • $110.00

  • - Obligation Free
Departing Launceston at 8:00am, we collect you from your city accommodation and set off on one of the Tasmania’s greatest wilderness journeys.

We make stop along the way at Sheffield, Town of Murals, where you have the opportunity to pick up lunch and stroll the streets of this fascinating town, admiring the artwork for which this town is renowned.

Continuing on to north-west Tasmania, we reach Cradle Mountain National Park. This World Heritage Area is a rugged wilderness landscape, filled with magnificent mountains, lakes and rainforest. We spend over 4 hours in the National Park, where you can choose from plenty of easy or more challenging walks.

With amazing views of Cradle Mountain, we set off on the Dove Lake Walk, an easy, flat walk to suit everyone’s fitness level. Your passionate and knowledgeable Tassie guide will provide you with all of the interpretation that you need to appreciate this unique landscape.

From here, we adapt the day to suit you: enjoy Weindorfers Chalet, complete a short walk or three, or choose a more challenging walk to Marion’s Lookout or Hanson’s Peak. After a day of exploration, we return to your Launceston city accommodation.
